Tyco
Biography
Tyco is a tiny Fairy Penguino from the Diver Tribe. Tyco is energetic, but an introspective Penguino. They like to search for suitable gems and rocks under the water to imbue their magic into. Tyco hates caves, so t Researching the properties of Earth's minerals has been a refreshing change for Tyco.
Appearance
Tyco is a lavender color with a cream body instead of the average light white-blue feathers that a lot of Fairy Penguinos have. Tyco has big tufts of feather on top of their head, with a large cowlick that tends to curl inward and flop around.
Tyco's eyebrows are darker than their feathers, which is a small pecularity in Penguino genes, but it's no cause for concern.
Tyco is one of the smaller sized Fairy Penguinos. Small Penguinos are not as common as the general size of a Fairy Penguino. A variation in the development of the Fairy Penguino.
Personality
Tyco is always moving, but is a little slower than other Penguinos. There's a lot of energy in Tyco! Although Tyco enjoys energetic activities, Tyco will get overwhelmed if there's too much going on at once, retreating to conserve energy.
When Tyco does managed to take a break, Tyco likes to eat jellied sweets, take naps and hang out reflecting at the beach shore, taking in the air of the sea.
Those who aren't familiar with the side of Tyco that takes respites may be alarmed at first. But they eventually get used to it because Tyco retains warmness and awareness of how others are feeling.
If Tyco has a lazy day, Tyco will often be seen reading or painting.
As Tyco has gotten older, Tyco has taken an appreciation to flames. Tyco even has their own flame bag, and a flame shirt sewn by Luther. Tyco often brings their flame bag with them during their dives.
"Tragedy and comedy. Ay-ay".
Activities
Tyco's job back on their chilly home planet of Ifrimio is diving for minerals. Tyco is scared of caves and small crevices, so Tyco only dives in large bodies of water. Where Tyco's talents shine and compromise in avoiding the caves that other Divers enter, is in imbuments that they perform on the minerals. Alchemical researchers like Tyco have a small workshop at their home where they undergo experiments and detailed research on local, interplanetary and alien resources. Their workshops are also where they produce the minerals that are used to power every day life for the civilization. It's a small batch operations that is connected through their trade network.
Outside of their job, Tyco
Southern Hemisphere Research Group
Tyco is the only Diver in the Southern Hemisphere Research Group. Most Divers were not interested in joining Feegee's research group to Earth. Tyco wanted to expand their comfort, and submitted an interplanetary request from Planet Ifrimio to Planet Lapazul to join the mission. Capital Feegee was happy to receive the submission of a Diver that has talents in alchemy. On Mothership AIRA, Tyco helped out other Penguinos in managing the mineral reserves and fine-tuning the power output/input for the overall Mothership systems. Tyco also befriended Reimi, another Diver Tribe Penguino from Donmante.
On Earth, Tyco dives in the waters of New Zealand alone in their small air bubble (as Tyco cannot swim well), imbuing or trying to imbue, underwater Earth minerals. Tyco then brings them to shore to study them in their small workshop which is attached to the side of their hut (built by P). As Penguino innate abilities are dampened by Earth's atmosphere, Tyco has largely been unsuccessful in creating amplified power with various minerals. But one mineral they discovered, the pauapaua pearl, has proven to be receptive to their dampened imbuements, creating energy outputs the Penguinos would only dream of having when they first came to Earth!
Diver Tribe Role
Tyco is a type of Diver that searches for the minerals the Penguinos use as energy and amplification for their powers. Since Tyco hates caves, they don't have the largest scope of diving - sticking to large bodies of water, avoiding small crevices. Tyco's responsibilities shine in their workshop where they perform alchemy on the minerals.
