Luther (Luto)

Biography
Curious and full of joy, Luther is from the Joker Tribe, and it shows! Luther is a bright Penguino here to cheer up and give morale support to all the Southern Hemisphere Research Penguinos. Luther's resolve is like a rock. Luther also has retained a high proportion of their amazing telekinesis skills, despite the dampening effects from Earth's atmosphere and magnetosphere.
Luther's name in the Fairy Penguino language is "Luto".

Appearance
Luther has chocolate-milk colored feathers and a light blue undercoat just like P and Bell.
Underneath their bear PJs is a big tuft of feathers, similar to Bell's, but poofier and floppy. Luther wears burgundy red bear PJs for warmth. During the first few years of the Penguino's time on Earth, the Northern Hemisphere Research Group sent their own collected data on the wildlife. Luther took a liking to bears, especially with their round, fuzzy ears. The protective nature bears have towards their cubs also gave Luther the idea of the bear PJs being a sort of "armor". With the help of Gurry and other Nurers, Luther was able to sew the bear PJs. The two buttons are the same color as Bell and P. It's a symbolic gesture that Luther always has best buds P and Bell, and the other Penguinos, near to their heart at all times.

Personality
The first impression Luther likes to give is by being humorous, fun and cracking a few jokes, some on accident! This humorous personality owes to Luther's natural curiosity, which is very kinesthetic. Their telekinesis ability is due in part to Luther learning best by touching with just a pat of their flipper to understand an object's properties. Luther's telepathy is also strong as well.
Luther has a tendency to get attached to personal objects. They will hone in on something very interesting and get it without thinking too much about it. Luther refuses to speak clear language, mumbling instead as Luther believes this helps retain that strong telepathy/kinesis.

"Let's put our minds to it"

Activities
Luther always has something planned to do, because Luther has a hard time relaxing. A favorite activity of Luther's is to draw. They are quite a skilled painter. Luther enjoys reading literature, research and picture books with P, while drinking some warm tea brewed by Gurry. During the winter and the summer, Luther dances a lot and sets up community events to boost morale. Astronomy/stargazing is also a favorite pasttime. Bell finds Luther annoying, but the two often bond over this shared experience with one another, mapping out starcharts for fun.

Southern Hemisphere Research Group
On Mothership AIRA, Luther was part of the Communications Runner (CR) team. Capital Feegee assigned Luther to this role due to Luther's telepathy/kinesis abilities. Coincidentally, Luther met and befriended P for the first time. Although P was the head announcer at the forefront, managing all signals in/out of the bridge, Luther was working deep within the ship with the other Communications Runner team members by maintaining the communication signals across the two sections of the Mothership, the Orbit, and the Loop. Luther was able to use their telepathy/kinesis to quickly make changes to the towers that manage the signals being sent and received every day, proving to be a great boon to the CR team.

Spark Tribe Role
